Lawn care is more than just applying fertilizer. Several types of lawn treatments should be part of a total lawn care program. The professionals at Drew’s Lawn & Landscape know what kind of lawn care Middle Tennessee lawns need. They can provide all these treatments to give you the yard of your dreams:
Aeration and over-seeding
Fertilizer treatments
Broadleaf and grassy weed control
Pre-Emergent herbicide applications
Micro-nutrient applications
Fungicide Applications
The Right Lawn Treatments at the Right Time
Many treatments are time sensitive. For example, aeration is a spring and fall lawn treatment. Aeration helps rejuvenate your lawn by “letting it breathe.” It creates holes in the ground so more air, water, and nutrients can get to the roots. When deprived of these basic needs, grass struggles during periods of heat and low rainfall.
Over-seeding (disbursing grass seed over an established lawn) generally follows aeration. New seed germinates when it has good soil contact. So, almost all the seeds that fall into the aeration holes generally produce grass.
Late April and May are the times to treat for ticks in the yard. Drew’s Lawn and Landscape has a tick treatment program that takes care of current pests, but also continues to provide control for 30 days.
